What we collect

When you sign up for updates, we collect your email address and anything else you choose to give us: your name, how you're connected to our work, your interests, and the page you signed up from.

When you email us, we receive whatever you send.

What we don't want through this website

Please don't send medical records, test results, or genetic details through our forms or by email.

If a future program needs health information, we'll explain exactly how it's protected before we ask for it.

How we use it

  • To send the updates you asked for.
  • To plan programs and understand who we're serving.
  • To answer your questions.

We never sell or rent your information.

Who helps us run things

Our website runs on Vercel, signups are stored in a database hosted by Neon, and our email runs on Google Workspace.

These providers process information only to run our services, and our data is stored in the United States.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives basic technical information such as your IP address. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

Every email we send includes a way to stop receiving them.

You can also ask us to show you, correct, or delete what we have about you by emailing info@bluebonnetgenome.org.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
